Yogirty Media is looking for a talented and innovative Video Editor specializing in creating engaging Reels for social media. With the evolving trends of 2025, we need a creative professional who understands the art of storytelling through short-form videos and can turn ideas into visually striking content that captivates audiences on mobile platforms.

Responsibilities

Edit high-quality Reels and short-form video content tailored for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook.
Utilize both mobile-based tools (e.g., CapCut, InShot, VN Editor) and desktop editing software to produce visually appealing, trend-focused, and engaging content.
Collaborate with content creators and strategists to bring creative ideas to life and maintain a consistent brand voice across all videos.
Stay updated on the latest social media trends, editing styles, and platform-specific requirements for short-form content in 2025.
Enhance storytelling with motion graphics, transitions, captions, and effects, ensuring emotional engagement and retention.
Optimize videos for performance across platforms, keeping in mind aspect ratios, file sizes, and upload guidelines.
Leverage analytics insights to refine editing styles and create content that resonates with the target audience.
Handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience in video editing with a strong focus on Reels or short-form mobile-first social media content.
Expertise in mobile editing apps like CapCut, InShot, and VN Editor for fast and on-the-go edits.
Proficiency in desktop editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve for more complex projects.
Knowledge of motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects) is a plus but not mandatory.
Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and audience behaviour to create impactful short videos.
Familiarity with social media algorithms, trends, and evolving content preferences in 2025.
Creative mindset with the ability to ideate and execute unique, attention-grabbing video concepts.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
